i would like to introduce my new cyber crush -- rollie pemberton, aka cadence weapon. i'm a little late w/ this (cut me some slack, man--i've been living two countries away for the last while), but he had the greatest blog ever, and now he's given it up 'cause his own music career is starting to blow up. no matter. read the thing anyway if you haven't. his music taste is almost spot on and his writing style is breezy and easy. this dude is the perfect hipster/hip-hop hybrid.
